ASRTE strengthens state and local retired teachers organizations by creating a national network to:

  •  Offer support to association administrators
  •  Develop effective methods of interaction between state and local officers
  •  Discuss mutual concerns and problems
  •  Exchange materials and information
  •  Assist member and non-member states

State Associations

Each state and local organization maintains relationships with other organizations, agencies, associations and coalitions sharing similar concerns. This increases the effectiveness of a national network in action.

Tim Abrams President

As a former educator, administrator and current Executive Director of the Kentucky Retired Teachers Association, Tim Abrams understands the needs of retired teachers. A dedicated collaborator, Tim leads ASRTE with his driving spirit to serve.
